Welcome to StartUp Tribes
Our principle mission is to facilitate the growth of localized innovation based startup ecosystems, what we call StartUp Tribes. We do this by our deploying our proprietary methodology to discover, design, develop and deploy state of art technology platforms. Our team of experts all of who has deep domain expertise in growing startup ecosystems, provides clients with research and advisory services that help map, connect, engage, and empower key stakeholders. Our beliefs stem from the fact that the current models of economic development, that are largely based on old ideas such as large firm relocation and financial incentives, have not worked out for most communities. There is an crying need for more community-centric and collaborative approaches to economic development that are innovation and entrepreneurship led. We are aware that this is not easy work, but our success has the potential to disrupt the status-quo. What more can we ask for?
Our values include democratizing information, facilitating the sharing of knowledge, and building a collaborative startup centric culture. We believe that diversity and inclusion are central to innovation. We believe that everyone has the potential to develop an entrepreneurial mindset, and that everyone has the right to become an entrepreneur. We also believe that with the rapid growth of the internet, cloud/mobile computing, and inexpensive technology tools, NOW is the best time in human history to build a Startup.
Our technology platform was especially built to help founders who are driven and may have a business idea or technology with potential, but weren’t necessarily born in a privileged environment. If you happen to be a person who is has the important responsibility of fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in your community or at a academic, or entrepreneurship support organization, we want to hear from you. Please take a minute to complete the contact form below.
A growing body of research by Kauffman Foundation and other economic development experts back our belief that growing entrepreneurial ecosystems that are engaged and empowered are characterized by 5 key factors: connection, collaboration, co-working, creation of a distinct culture, and a strong sense of belonging to a community or a tribe.
